Guy, humans wrote the Bible not a spirit God inspired these writers with His spirit {2Timothy 3:16} and guides those taking the lead in God's organization to all truth in the book {John 14:26} making it possible for peace to reign among us {John 14:27} but there are lying spirits misleading you guys with different meaning that's why you people keep contradicting yourselves.

He had no opportunity to do so that's why Jesus promised him otherwise he doesn't need to be given such assurance if he ed Jesus' disciples and got baptized you can see what the Ethiopian eunuch did after his conviction he quickly asked Philip to baptize him as one of Jesus' disciples. Act 8:36-38

If Philip didn't preach baptism to him as part of the requirements of faith in Christ would he have asked to be baptized?
