All these guys agitating for open letter, don't think that DPR would corner you and give u an APL. It happened with some guys here and I bet u, it won't happen again. The carrot and stick approach would not repeat itself again.
There is a second list. So just relax and see it materialize. I heard ending of October but not too sure.
Instead of agitating, put that effort in praying. There's nothing God cannot do. If we tly pray, it can be released next week.

I have also noticed that some guys are good at writing long messages. Pls try to shorten ur messages because it really consumes space and boring to read. Those tagging long messages before they reply, pls help us stop the tagging because its annoying to enter a thread and see a repeated long message in the name of tagging.

Good Day good people of DPR Thread.
It's been a while, apparently this whole moving on thing is easy for some and not so easy for others. So it's only normal for people to be on the edge at this time, it's been almost a year since the interview and we can't say as to whether the recruitment is over or not.
DPR handled the test and Interview process very professionally but the irony is to how the ending part of the recruitment turned out to be a sham. But that isn't breaking news anymore.
Everybody is allowed to express their grievances and to the people who are championing the cause right now, you must bear in mind that you should be doing that for the sake of putting it out there and not for any results, because the reality is everything has played out only in the advantage of the high and mighty. This istration has been known to ignore every scandal and play dumb and i see that been the result in this case also. But this isn't to deter you on your quest because any back and forth is pointless at this moment.
The biggest surprise for me isn't DPR's handling of the ending part of the recruitment but how our once upon a time colleagues in the struggle have gone quite, because their continuous input on the thread would have helped put things into perspective and shed more light on the plight of the remaining hopefuls, but i guess i might have acted in the same manner too, hopefully you are all doing well and scaled the documentation and medicals.
At this point everyone should be allowed to do what they feel is best , what's the worst that can happen?? DPR will issue a statement saying the recruitment is concluded or even say they have ed everyone.
Las Las we go dey alright cos the DPR job isn't some sort of life for anyone. All the best in our quests at figuring out this life thing especially as Nigerians.

No. A newspaper publication is no way a waste of time. We are fighting a battle where at this point we have nothing to lose already. The more reason we should fight with reckless abandon.

Under who’s istration do you think all this happening. Integrity, Transparency.... I’m sure we have also heard those words multiple things from President Muhammadu Buhari’s istration. Well he is nursing a second term ambition....do i need to say more? He would have to show us he doesn’t just associate with the mere letters of these words but their meaning.

Mr Ahmad Rufai Shakur has silently tagged us as irrelevant. An effective message exposing the rout should drive home the message to him. My initial plan was to have this story ready for blogs and social media, tending when this recruitment ends without any merit. It would be in such a way they when ever his name is inputted into google search the keyword output would be DPR recruitment scam, dishonesty, bribery etc

This sounded Hammer-esque though

1. President Buhari is the Minister of Petroleum, whose office directly oversees the DPR.

2. President Buhari is running for a tightly-contested re-election, mostly on the basis of "transparency, integrity" e.t.c.

3. This DPR recruitment so far stinks of irregularities, insincerity, favoritism, nepotism & outright corruption, while the agency is being overseen by "Mr. Integrity" himself.

4. We have been deceived, cheated, emotionally abused and disregarded as nonentities so far with regard to this recruitment. I am NOT a nonentity. It cost me millions to be qualified for this recruitment and tens of thousands to travel and attend the aptitude test and interview, only to be treated with such contempt. This is unacceptable.

5. We were told all communication would be through our portals, but some "super Nigerians" we were interviewed alongside are already working in DPR offices and awaiting their next paycheck. This is the height of injustice and totally rubbishes the anti-corruption mantra of this istration. As for proof that the recruited ones were stakeholder candidates, I (and a few others I've discussed this issue with) have unshakable evidence of some new recruits and their sponsors, which will be presented when necessary.

6. I seriously doubt the President, and the opposition PDP are aware of the irregularities happening right under the nose of the President and this is what the publication will take care of.

7. that we might all just wake up to closed portals one day without a word from DPR, and right now their anointed candidates are already working in DPR so we really have nothing to lose, and responsible governance to achieve if nothing at all.

I pledge my for the publication and will use the social media influence I possess (and ironically used to campaign for this govt in 2014/15) to move this initiative forward.

Good day everyone. I'm not against anyone carrying out any form of protest but what will be the basis for this? Is is that we saw our names and we have not been called? Or that we were successful in the test and interview? Who showed us our assessment results? Who told us we did very well? Who told us those that have been called are not deserving of it ? What are the proofs we have? The leaked merit list? Is it authentic from DPR? Those are some of the things we shd think abt before taking decisions. I for one had moved on and forgotten abt DPR not until a source told me last week that the new list is imminent....my candid opinion is we shd still chill and believe what marvel have been ing to us over here. Someone told me he's 100 % right

Without divulging too much prematurely, be rest assured that a good number of those called don't even possess that class of degree, talkless of being interviewed. That I am certain.

As for me, I have faith in God that the DPR recruitment cannot be completed without me. My God has never failed.

Letting the world know you were cheated. You won't be the first or the last to be cheated. And who told you you were cheated? Making unreasonable assumptions will lead some to trouble. Even if the world knows you were cheated, they won't do a thing about it. Oga make all of una go find work do. Your rumblings no go reach anywhere. shakur will tell you the recruitment is over, that is what he has been telling some big men that are requesting for one slot or the other. he use the first batch to settle 90% of the stakeholders so that tey will stop disturbing him. the recruitment is not over because there mustt be supplementary list even if there is no new list coming out, and 700+ slots were approved, they may decide to call for a new recruitment or fill the remaining slots using the interview result. if you dig deep yo will know the recruitment is not over, but the only thing i cant guarantee is the merit ish bec.ause everything is being compromised.

u talk of supplementary list . I hope u know what supplementary means in Nigeria.... If only supplementary list remain it means no merit again at oll. If u know u know we are in nigeria
