Anambra people and Juju, they believe in jazz more than they believe in God

If traditional religion is ‘juju’, then Christianity is also juju.

Just because you call your juju “miracles”, doesn’t mean it’s not juju.

Even your speaking in tongues is juju.

Your ritual cannibalism in which you “drink the blood and eat the flesh of Jesus” is a very ancient juju that arose back in the day when people believed that eating the remains of a god gave men power and supernatural powers.

In fact everything you do in Christianity is Juju, from start to finish.

Even the idea of a “Son of God” is African.

It was stolen from the ancient Kemet spiritual system in which Horus, the son of Osiris, was born by Isis - Meri.

There are statues that show the black goddess Isis-Meri cradling Horus dating thousands of years before the Roman invention of Jesus and Mary.

All christian concepts are borrowed from traditional African religion - concepts which foreigners bastardised and presented as their ideas.

Governor Solundo hasn't done anything wrong, whether or not he consulted a native doctor. Traditional practice is part of our African heritage and will remain so for thousands of years. Therefore, people should stop demonizing traditional practitioners, as not all of them are evil.

Same thing I’m asking, my brother.

What is wrong with inviting a traditional priest to help you see road?

For goodness sake’s we are Africans,

We are not ashamed or afraid to be Africans.

If anybody wants to be an English man, he should move to London or America.

What’s the point of dealing with them when more keep pouring in through the open borders from the Sahel?

Imagine that, instead of them to invite Nigerian expatriates (abroad) in that field and empower them to carry out the project.

That’s a very thoughtless idea.

Mr Abroad.

Anything good or useful must come from “abroad”.

Sorry, this is the era of ‘Buy Nigeria’.

If you want stuff from “abroad”, go and live abroad.

I don't want to sound disrespectful, but will try to keep it low...

No one is trying to be timid here...

How do you explain a country as vastile as Nigeria... Still experiencing total blackout in electricity for over 60yrs to date...

Does it not sound shameful to you...

A country with Nigeria society of engineers.. and universities scattered around the country..

Nigeria is not the only country on Earth with power cuts. Most developing nations have them.

There’s nothing shameful about being a developing country like 80% of countries on Earth.

Why don’t you go into solar business to fill the gap, or are you only good at pointing fingers?

At some point in the future Nigeria will have steady power.

But that doesn’t mean we down tools and refuse to build the country.

Continue joking. You're building something you don't have infrastructure to .

Infrastructure to electric vehicles is being built alongside manufacturing capacity, not one before the other.

It’s a new technology, so no country has “sufficient infrastructure to it”.

Why are you forcing people to believe what is not ? 😁😁.

Stuffs like this don’t work by faith.

These things don’t hide. If they are true, you would see the impact without folks like you coming here to blow vuvuzela on some phantom achievements.

Foreign investors ko, foreign bodies ni.

You would see what impact?

The people getting jobs will come and knock on your door and announce “Oga I just got a job from a foreign investor!”

Or maybe you expect them to do Owambe in the middle of your street to celebrate their new employment with a foreign investor!

I keep telling folks. ''Give Tinubu time... he will fix this economy.''

I actually think the growth that is coming will be the most explosive in Nigerian history.

And we are in the AI Revolution now, so anything that’s improving will be improving 3 or 4 times faster and more efficiently than before.

You basically lack understanding of world politics!! If every country has nuclear weapon just as the case of India and Pakistan where USA quickly moved to deflate the tension, then the world is in danger of imminent destruction. While it is not good for any country to possess nuclear weapons which includes USA, Russia and China, it is worse for potential rogue nations such as Iran who has openly declared that they seek to wipe Israel off the map. They sponsor Hamas, Hezbollah and houthis to attack Israel and have already struck Israel with over 400 ICBM missiles on two separate occasions, showing they are damn serious to annihilate Israel. Possession of such weapons is a declaration of imminent use which will be catastrophic.

In addition, successful Arab nations such as Saudi, Qatar and UAE plus other regional powers like Turkey have declared that if Iran possesses nuclear weapons, they will also have no choice than to build theirs plunging the middle east to an imminent arms race and potential destruction because Saudi Arabia's Aramco oil installation, have been attacked by Iran backed group in the past for regional power supremacy battle.

Finally, the middle east have notably been taken over by terrorist groups in the past such as Syria, now tell me if Syria for instance happen to possess nuclear weapons, it is all over as these terrorists are suicidal in nature

Thank you. Mr Alarmist.

By the same token, Everbody should get rid of their nukes.

America has used nuclear weapons on two occasions, slaughtering over 150,000 people in Hiroshima and Nagasaki in a matter of seconds.

They are no less of a threat to peace than anyone else.

They are the most dangerous and reckless country on Earth.

They use their possession of nuclear weapons to bully countries into doing their bidding, which is a form of nuclear terrorism.

If the American nuclear arsenal is destroyed, the world will have peace because every negative development radiates from them.

Such deal cannot just be between USA & Iran without other world powers and UN, the reason the 2015 Iran's nuclear deal remains the best, but trump withdrew from it because it was achieved under Obama

One thing is clear, US will never invade Iran with or without nuclear weapons

Not that they can't but there will be catastrophic consequences, it will be too costly (maybe a Pyrrhic victory) the entire region will be ruined

They asked one Iranian analyst about this, and he laughed and started talking about how the “glass palaces” of oil-rich American allies like UAE, with Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Saudi would be the first targets if Iran was attacked.

Trump who is making deals to build his own hotels and skyscrapers in those places is not about to go to war with Iran, trust me.

Read my comment. That is exactly what I am saying. The difference is not that great in GDP per capita. The difference is in technological prowess, industrial output and sheer geopolitical heft.

India is a third world nation that commands the military and economic strength suring many first world nations, like our former colonizers, the Brits.

They are a billion people in that country, so of course they will be doing more stuff in industry even if they are a developing country.

Same way Nigeria has bigger companies and industries with advanced technology than Liberia or Sierra Leone or Ghana.

I'm an Indian from India. I don't get what this entire thread is about. India's per capita GDP is $2880 while Nigeria's is $1621 So no wonder some places in Nigeria look a good as some places in India.

Add to it the corruption in the Municipal Corporations in India and the fact that we have millions of immigrants flooding into Delhi every year and its no wonder that the city's infrastructure can't always keep pace.

Keep in mind, this city has almost as much GDP as entire Nigeria. So the comparison is a bit off....

Reason India is hyped up is because it is the fastest growing major economy on the planet, just overtook Japan this year, will overtake next year.

And the other reason India is hyped up is because of Indian technology. A small example of the same, look at how 5G rollout in India was much faster and more widespread than even Europe. And then go read about how India is among the top nations that are doing R & D and owning intellectual property in 6G technologies like THz communications. Or look at Indian advancements in Supercomputing, Quantum Key Encryption, Hyperspectral Imaging, deep sea mining, etc. Indian firms are getting contracts from US military these days, like Pixxel aerospace that got contract for Hyperspectral imaging payloads that Pixxel made with Indian technology.

https://x.com/IndianTechGuide/status/1715639233053143468

Photo shows Indian 5G rollout compared to Europe.

What’s the point of these developments when your US and Canada embassies in Delhi are filled with people wanting to flee? And the dilapidated infrastructure?

Where is all the money from the corporate taxes these big companies are paying?

It’s obvious the fruits of these advancements you listed are only circulating among the elite without impacting wider society.

There’s been a reduction of poverty for many millions of people there over the last decade or two, but the infrastructure is not really matching up to that.

But why Bill Gates? So no Nigerian has common less than $8m for such project or investment. These politicians and majority of wealthy Nigerians are vision less especially the politicians

The Nigerian govt is building Africa’s first AI university, a bigger project than this Bill Gates’ own.

We have also hosted a massive AI summit in Abuja around 6 months ago which attracted professionals from across Africa.

Nigeria is not slacking in the AI revolution at all.

In Africa, it’s Nigeria, Kenya, and South Africa that are leading the AI race.

The question is

“What does he want?”

What’s in it for him?

The AI he’s promoting, I was on AI recently, and it said the world owes Africa $5000 trillion for its exploitation. Gave me full itemised calculations.

Britain owes Nigeria $50 trillion, by ChatGPT calculations. Which works out at $300,000 for every single Nigerian, including babies.

Bill Gates should be campaigning for reparations.

We don’t need his charity.

Canada has a population of 40 million, with an annual budget of $455 billion.

Nigeria has a population of 250 million, with an annual budget of $35 billion.

Expecting services in Nigeria to be of the same standards as Canada is currently unrealistic.
