Why would you think so?

The Japanese have little or no grudge with the Russians. They might be acting like they're in bed with the Americans but I'm sure with their characters, they've never forgotten Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The same way the Chinese hate them cos of Nanking...

You think they are like you guys.
Their biggest revenge is self development, not witch hunting and trading blames for retrogressive living.

Lukgaf:
There are moments in life when we feel we’ve done everything right.

You fasted on the white days.
You prayed at Tahajjud when the world slept.
You gave sadaqah with a trembling hope in your heart.
You raised your hands after every prayer, whispering the same dua for a job, a spouse, a visa, a child…

Yet it didn’t happen.

The contract was cancelled.
The proposal was rejected.
The exam was failed.
The visa was denied.
And you’re left wondering, Did Allah not hear me? Did He turn away?

But pause… and reflect.

> "…But perhaps you hate a thing and it is good for you; and perhaps you love a thing and it is bad for you. And Allah Knows, while you know not."

(Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:216)

Allah’s wisdom is far above our comprehension. He sees what we don’t. He plans what we can’t.

I know of someone who saved up for years, did everything possible to go for Hajj, but each year, something blocked the way until one day, Allah opened the door in a way he never imagined. He wept not just from joy, but from finally understanding why the earlier delays happened.

I know of a brother who was heartbroken after losing a job contract that he thought would change his life only to return home and find his true change: a pious wife and a peaceful life.

Even for me, I once praying earnestly to gain ission into a particular university. I was serious, I fasted, did I’tikaf, made tahajjud… everything. But the ission never came. I was crushed. Four years later, Allah wrote something more beautiful: I was posted there for NYSC and got paid by the same university that once rejected me.

Dear friend, if Allah delays your request, it’s not neglect rather it’s protection.
If He redirects your path, it’s not rejection, it’s mercy.
If He gives you silence instead of a “yes,” it’s because He wants to give you something better than what you asked.

Keep trusting. Keep walking.
One day, you’ll look back and whisper, Alhamdulillah for not getting what I wanted… because what Allah gave was better.

May Allah strengthen our hearts to trust His perfect wisdom and bless us with contentment in His decree.
Ameen.

Hello Nairalanders, I know we are very sensitive to cheating so I ask for forgiveness.

I had a fling with a girl I have known for sometime now, I used CD but at some point, I used my finger. I started reading about Hiv and the possiblity of contracting it through fingering. Although my readings says % is very low provided there is no fresh injury, however I opted for PEP to calm my nerves. ( Pep is a drug used, when you suspect an exposure to HIV, you have 36hours to take it or else it won't work)

I tore off the pack, hid it in something and kept it in my bag. My wife for whatever reason searched my bag, saw it googled it and came back shouting and screaming since last night. My only comment to her is let's go for hiv test And that the drug was for my asthma, I know she wants to take it somewhere for verification.

My only fear now is if I disclose the reason for taking PEP, then my marriage is in danger.

Anything I can do to salvage this situation, I do not have time. Please my people

Telling more lies means you’re up to no good for your self as a person.

It's even annoying to see Tinubu spending trillions of naira building an unnecessary coastal road than investing that sum in power infrastructure, which is a critical factor of production.

This is why White South Africans repeatedly argued throughout the Apartheid era that the black man lacks the mental capacity to rule himself. To date, purely black African countries are still the poorest in the world.

They don’t know that the crazy airtime rates, bank charges, tariff increase on utilities etc are Tinubu’s siphoning tubes reaching every Nigerian’s pocket. If you really know Tinubu, you’ll know he has nothing in his head other than IGR. He’s laying pipes everywhere, nooks and crannies. By the time he ends his tenure he’ll still be sucking the country dry, worse than Abacha and IBB combined.

Don't think this will be different, China will mostly likely team up with Russia, same as Iran and a few others, this will be more terrible than what the Germans, Japanese and Italians did during world war II.

He's right.

Russia is the largest country on earth. No army on earth can cover an area that size. Not even 80 million troops. The US can barely mobilize 2 million troops.

Russia has the largest mineral reserves on earth. Rare earth metals and others in abundance.

Russia has the largest missile arsenal on earth. And the largest and most diverse nuclear arsenal.

Russia is backed by China & India and the rest of Asia (4 billion people). All nuclear armed btw.

So how on earth do you expect the US to win against Russia? Even with the help of NATO.

Thanks to the Nigerian authorities, who have pledged to take up the matter immediately with Saudi authorities. That is the value of our cherished freedom and democracy.

When you guys maim and kill on grounds of blasphemy, you don’t democracy and freedom. You defy the country’s constitution and uphold Sharia. When you get served with what you deserve you start looking for and sympathy from the Constitution’s democratic provisions.
Fools.

In the trending clip, Boniface is seen enjoying a delicious meal cooked by Phoebe for him and his friends. He was heard saying, “She brought food for me and my friends and it’s actually good, but she forgot chicken — no problem.”

Phoebe quickly replied, “You were rushing me! You said I should be fast!”
Victor, in playful pidgin, fired back, “No be you tell me say you dey do work? I was hungry!”

He then gave a thumbs up and praised the meal, saying, “The food is actually nice.”
Phoebe couldn't hide her excitement and burst into a happy dance in response to Victor’s rating.

If you have it, you have it. Tinubu does not have this. That “forensic” , analytical capacity.
Plain economics and reformed psychology. No one in APC has it.

This is what make up leaders not rulers. Tinubu is a Paramount ruler on a national scale.
That’s why his son and daughter think they automatically occupy public offices by virtue of family ties in a democratic system.

Stop talking nonsense. 2 units of their currency. So why are they not earning 250,000 units of their currency monthly?

The price of that should be benchmarked against the average salary there.

And you got over 200 likes for simply lacking understanding of what the person you quoted was saying.
Use common sense.
How much do you buy a bottle of 50cl coke in Nigeria currently?
A bottle of coke in the south west and south south goes for about 500 naira.
So if someone in Canada can get a bottle of 50cl coke for 2.45CAD or roughly 2 CAD (rounded sum), that means you’re paying roughly 250 times more for the same bottle of coke here in Nigeria . Now even if you’re to import the higher standardized Canadian coke, you’ll be selling it for over 2000 naira per bottle here in Nigeria . So now the average salary in Canada after tax deductions is about 4k CAD. An individual’s groceries for a month can go between 150, 200 CAD to 500 CAD, depending on individual preference or choice factors. See the shot below for rough idea.
Now what’s the average salary in Nigeria? How many people live below that bracket or above it?
It’s useless trying to defend a defenseless cause. There are times we need to swallow the bitter pills to square shoulder with the truth.

On the southern fringe of the Sahara, a vast expanse of parched and unforgiving land is almost impossible to cultivate and ravaged by Islamist insurgencies.

Yet the countries of this inhospitable region have some of the highest rates of population growth in the world.

Niger ranks third in the global league for pace of annual population growth – about 3.7 per cent – meaning that the nation’s 26 million people will double in number within 20 years.

Neighbouring Chad comes ninth in the world, while Mali, on the other side of Niger, ranks tenth. Today, the combined population of all three states is about 70 million, a total that is forecast to exceed 140 million by 2050.

The demography of the states of the Sahel – as the southern edge of the Sahara is known – leads the way for Africa as a whole. Whereas the overall population of Europe is falling and that of North and South America – and even Asia – is now stabilising, Africa has the fastest rate of growth in the world.

As recently as 1960, the population of the entire continent was only 283 million – not much more than the 230 million who today live in Nigeria alone.

Since then, Africa’s population has multiplied fivefold to reach 1.5 billion. The United Nations Economic Commission for Africa predicts that the continent will add another 950 million people by 2050, bringing its total population to 2.5 billion.

In the next quarter century, about half of the world’s population growth will be concentrated in just eight countries, of which five are in Africa: Ethiopia, Nigeria, Tanzania, Egypt and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Today, fewer than one in five of the world’s people are Africans; by 2050 Africa will comprise about a quarter of humanity.

Why is this happening and what are the possible consequences?

A Global Look at Every Billion Dollar Company

Key Takeaways

North America is home to 38.6% of the world’s publicly-listed companies valued at $1 billion or more in 2025.
The Asia-Pacific region holds 29.8% of these large firms, led by Japan and India.
Meanwhile, Europe covers 23% of the global share, coming in at third place.
The global stock market is constantly evolving, spawning new companies in developed and emerging markets alike.

From North America to the Middle East, significant investment in AI is fueling the emergence of new players in the market. Meanwhile, global startup cities like Shanghai and Paris are providing the launching grounds for each new billion dollar company thanks to their robust ecosystems and venture capital funding.

This graphic shows all the world’s billion dollar companies in 2025, based on analysis from BestBrokers.

Yet as a number of economies in Asia see strong economic growth, rising incomes, and greater investment, large firms are increasingly proliferating. One notable example is India, which ranks third globally in the number of billion-dollar companies—outpacing the UK, Canada, and China.

Meanwhile, Taiwan’s total stock market capitalization relative to its GDP is among the highest globally, given its leading role in the semiconductor supply chain. With 77 billion dollar companies, it ranks 16th overall in the world.

Meanwhile, the Middle East s for 5.6% of the world’s large firms. Saudi Arabia ranks at the top, with 98 billion dollar companies while the UAE follows next with 62. Both countries have seen a massive influx of funds investing in AI infrastructure and advanced manufacturing. At the same time, energy and financial giants dominate their stock exchanges.

On the other end of the spectrum, Africa has the smallest share of billion dollar firms. Overall, South Africa is home to the most large firms on the continent, at 43, while Egypt and Nigeria each have one billion dollar company.

Sad Some hours back boko just disarm full barracks for maiduguri carry Nigeria tax payers sweat in form of weapons and these our leaders are doing nothing!!! Very rare to see Infantry soldiers carrying AK 47 crying like women. Wow the video made me cry.. I can't post it here. Facebook rules.

That was exactly what happened when ISWAP terrorists overran a military facility in the Marte local government of Borno state and kpaied scores of soldiers. They also burnt down their shelters.

This should provoke the military and carry out the final push against the terrorists and the bandits. I saw so many bodies covered with leaves. The body's legs and hands were tight with robes before they were kpaied.

There were indications that some soldiers were taken away as slaves. Who are the people that don't want the insecurity to stop DSS should do their work to identify them. ISIS were defeated in Iraq .

Zulum in recent times have been shouting that bokoharam iswap fighters now use drones to monitor troops movement and they're growing stronger.

Please my strong and brave soldiers friends and family stay strong..

The best things you can achieve now is survival skills. Learn how to build a drone from scratch. Learn basic electronics. Work on robotic projects if possible. Check up OpenCV libraries on OCR and night vision and clone projects if possible. Your first point of call is being able to set up and operate a surveillance system in real-time, made of 4 to 6 drones (at least 1 fixed wing UAV and 3 or more copters). You can’t achieve this alone. You’ll need a team of like minds. You wanna be forearmed in case the chips eventually go down someday, when insurgents’ airplanes start flying over major cities. You don’t want to be taken unawares.

The Nigerian airspace is one of the most vulnerable in the world. Anything that sees insurgents increasing their knowledge base, skill set or sophistication levels will put the NA in a very difficult position.
From the judiciary to the Executive, dumb heads and pot bellies all over. This is what you get.
