The EFCC Chairman added that the agency’s operatives had also arrested some suspects in connection with the fraud. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has announced the recovery of some money from the digital investment platform Crypto Bridge Exchange (CBEX) trading platform. This was announced by the chairman of the anti-graft agency, Mr Ola Olukoyede in an interview with TVC on Sunday. The EFCC Chairman added that the agency’s operatives had also arrested some suspects in connection with the fraud. “We have gone far with CBEX. We have been able to recover a reasonable amount of money,” he said. He explained further that stolen money was in cryptocurrency and the EFCC has been able to trace and recover part of it. He also acknowledged that the agency experienced difficulties while converting the funds back to dollars in cash. He added: “Even though in the crypto wallet, the same way the money was taken from them. There is no way you will get them in dollars. There is no way you get the dollars in cash without necessarily going through the same process.” The EFCC boss added that some suspects have already been arrested, noting that the agency is still pursuing others who are on the run. “We have gone far. We have made a reasonable arrest. “We are not going to give out much because we don’t want the process to be disrupted. We are still after quite a number of people we have declared wanted,” he said He stated that the investigation has been challenging because the fraudsters utilised “non-custodial wallets,” which means there was no identity linked to the s, making it more difficult to trace the criminals. “We are still investigating a lot of wallets and the wallets they created are called noncustodian wallets; in other words, no KYC. So, you can’t trace it to anybody. “So, from the noncustodial wallet, they moved it to some wallets in Europe, Eastern Europe, particularly Cambodia and from there, they dispersed the money. We have been able to block some of these wallets where money has not been dispersed. “That is to the extent that we have gone. I even learnt that there are still some of these perpetrators and Nigerians are still falling victim. I believe people should learn from this,” he added. SaharaReporters earlier reported how CBEX crashed, wiping out the life savings of thousands of Nigerians, particularly young people, who believed they were investing in a legitimate platform. Adefowora Abiodun, a suspected promoter of the scheme, voluntarily surrendered to the agency in April. This came after Justice Emeka Nwite of the Federal High Court in Abuja ruled to approve the EFCC's request to arrest and detain six promoters of CBEX, including Adefowora. Abiodun, along with five others – Adefowora Oluwanisola, Emmanuel Uko, Seyi Oloyede, Avwerosuo Otorudo, and Chukwuebuka Ehirim – was declared wanted by the EFCC following submissions made by the commission’s counsel, Fadila Yusuf. After hearing the EFCC’s application, Justice Nwite had ruled, “I have listened to the submission of learned counsel for the applicant (EFCC). I have also reviewed the affidavit evidence and exhibits, along with the written address. I am satisfied that the application is meritorious and hereby grant it as prayed.” All six promoters were declared wanted by the EFCC for their alleged involvement in a fraudulent investment scheme valued at over $1billion. Following the declaration, Abiodun, accompanied by his lawyers, turned himself in at the EFCC headquarters in Abuja around 4 p.m. on Monday. Abiodun expressed his willingness to cooperate with the EFCC. The counsel for the suspect, Babatunde Busari, stated that his client decided to submit himself for investigation to clear his name and correct the narrative being widely circulated in the media. https://saharareporters.com/2025/05/26/efcc-announces-recovery-funds-n13trillion-cbex-crypto-scam-makes-arrests 1 Like |

I this Ibro hotel in Wuse Zone 5. I bin lodge there in 2008. Ibro Hotel, I will never forget you, never ever! Took ABC bus from Yaba to Abuja, sat beside this yellow and fine edo girl and we gisted from Yaba straight to Abuja. We knew every damn thing about each other in that bus. We didn't hide anything, toasted her in that same bus and she agreed, and you will not believe me if I tell you this, she even gave me bloow job right in that bus (It was a big luxurious bus and the stuff happened when everywhere was dark around 8pm). The journey was around 12 hours but it was the best 12 hours of my life till date because I met one of the most beautiful girl I have ever seen in my life, her father is a rich politician but she had phobia for flight and that is why she took a bus, she will only travel by flight if she is going with a friend or family. We arrived Abjua around 9pm. She was going to Maitama and I was going to Wuse but she followed me to Ibro Hotel to spend the night and I had one of the best sex of my life till date. I paid 17k for their best room back in 2008, omo Naija don spoil. I wonder how much it will cost now. After that night, she went home. She came back to collect another round on the day before I was leaving Abuja and spent another night with me. It was fire for fire. I left Lagos and all the gra gra love we had for each other started dwindling away small small. We remained friends for a while until everything disappeared patapata. Ibro Hotel and Suites, thank you o 11 Likes 1 Share |

Elyonboy: There are chances that will explore her life. She is young, boys are crushing on her, she needs to wear crop tops and flaunt her flat tommy. She needs to go out and have fun. She needs to go to school for another 4 or 5 years. You will eventually tame her and stop her from exploring and you might regret it. She will find a way to explore now or later. That exploration is not what you want for your woman at your age. The chances that she will cheat on you with younger guys is very high. Since she is 18, she can consent to sex. Knack her left right and center, then leave her to go to school and move on with your life. 3 Likes |

So this woman no knack during those 19 years ba? Dey play If you are reading this and you are abroad but your family is in Nigeria, especially those of you who have been away for 2 years upwards, note that one broke modafucka is seriously knacking your wife with no intentions of stopping anytime soon. The most painful part for you is that part of the money you are sending home is being used to take care of this guy. And if your wife is living in a house where there is a bachelor, that guy has 99% chance of knacking your wife mercilessly. It will be so bad that your wife will be fighting his girlfriends or fiance. I have been that barchelor on two occassions, two different compounds. If there are no barchelors in the compound, the young broke guys in that vicinity are the ones knacking her with no mercy. In fact your wife is an easy prey for these guys. They know you are not around but you are sending dollars or pounds, so they will constantly hit on her so they can chop her cookie and the money you are sending over. I mean fine looking young guys o. It will be so much she cant continue to resist. She must fall. When you come back home for 1 or 2 months vacation, the guy will lay low, the next day after you fly back he will resume his duties. This is the hard and harsh truth and there is absolutely nothing you can do about it. Kiss it! You just read this with a teary eye and a pounding chest but sorry, there is nothing you can do. You are helpless. Just accept your fate. When you come back home or send for her to come you, dont question her, dont try to investigate, just accept your fate. That's your destiny. Its not her fault, body no be firewood. 23 Likes 1 Share |

Venueh: Still doesnt change the fact that they didnt win it for 50 years until Osimhen came. He helped them break the curse and put them on the map again. They are only following what he has laid down. He is a bigger legend than all the players they have right now. Different players won the Premiership and champions league with Chelsea but none of them will be greater than Drogba, Ceck, Lampard and Terry cos they were the first to do it. 12 Likes 2 Shares |

Men who are going more than 1 round need to work on themselves. That's some nonsense. I have NEVER gone beyond 1 round in my entire life, and that is because my round lasts for at least 20 minutes. I mean 20 minutes of full action. I believe men who go multiple rounds are 1 or 2 minutes men. You cannot smash a woman nonstop for 20 to 30 minutes and still be interested in any more rounds. In fact my women dont even show any interest again after my 20 to 30 minutes of action cos we are both worn out and 100% satisfied. This 2 rounds 7 rounds discussion is always strange to me. 12 Likes 3 Shares |
