Earlier today, a post featuring a video of former presidential aspirant Peter Obi was spotted on the verified Instagram page of Linda Ikeji Blog. In the video, Obi made a striking remark: "It is extremely difficult to be in opposition in this country. If this is the end, so be it."

Just a few hours later, the post mysteriously disappeared.

This has sparked questions among concerned citizens and political observers. Was the video removed due to political pressure? Is there an attempt to silence voices of dissent, particularly those who represent the opposition?

If this is true, it raises a serious red flag about freedom of expression and the independence of the media in Nigeria. In a democratic society, opposition voices should be heard, not suppressed.
