Aside being a hobby, traveling to new places, experiencing new cultures and meeting new people, has been one of the biggest sources of inspiration and exposure to me. Every travel opportunity, by air, land or sea, comes along with its life lessons, good or bad.
I was recently privileged to travel to Morocco with for some crucial meetings and researches.
Our trip to Morocco, beyond opening doors of new experiences unto me, resurrected in me the age long question, "which way Nigeria?"
Why does it seem like any Nigerian who gets the opportunity to experience life beyond the borders always comes to the conclusion that anywhere is better than here? One cannot but ire how other countries, that have no meeting point with Nigeria in of resources, wealth and influence, end up living in well organised manners and growing happily in their pace and space, while Nigeria continues to swing between poverty and insecurity and whatever bad you can think of. Aside having traveled to some European countries, I have visited a couple of African countries, and my position is the same - Nigeria lags behind in all fronts of existence.
Do we talk about the depressing level of corruption and financial imprudence that has crippled our economy? Or the disheartening level of insecurity that has kept everyone on edge, rich and poor alike. Do we begin to mention the poverty rate, unemployment rate, political rascality, under development, poor quality of health and education - everything that can ever go wrong in a nation is found in our nation, in large quantities. And we are the giant of Africa - giant in societal ills, sufferings and deaths!
Enough of Nigeria and its wahala biko! Back to our trip to Morocco.

When you go on strike every week and month, serious organizations will find back up but it seems that in this case, back up guys used during your frequent industrial strikes are now converted to permanent staff to replace you guys.
Though it's not without its own problems but the alternative of your frequent disruption with industrial strikes in a perishable oil and gas industry that runs mostly on huge multibillion dollars loan credit system from shylock commercial/investment banks is grim.
The oil companies have not broken any law by having back up when you go on strike. I was shocked that even ordinary transfer of oil well ownership from IOCs to indigenous oil companies, you guys shut down and declared strike over what you can resolve with your fellow Nigerian companies. Smh.
You're same folks who went on strike because LP's strong man and NLC President, was attacked during his political role in local Imo state , his home state, elections that has absolutely nothing to do with your oil industry. So which serious organization will continue to bank on your strikes even on issues not related to your industry? Nil!
You have 'played' with your jobs for too long and your employers seem fed up.
May God bless Nigeria for ever! Check my signature for free stuffs!
That's the benefit of being a citizen

Lol.
Why won't they take jobs? They are more trustworthy and hardworking. More competent on the average. Better trained. Less annoying to work with. Efficient overall.

By the special grace of God, Nigeria will be back on her feet. Yes, the problem of Nigeria must be addressed from the root, not mere cosmetic solution which can't stand the test of time. The initial challenge is normal, especially if the problem is to be truly addressed and it takes a man with strong balls to do that.
And for all the enemies of the state waiting in the wings to see my country go down, you will all cry blood, even more blood than the ones shed when your incompetent candidates were rejected at various level of the electoral pprocess.
Wicked souls can start praying, fasting, offering sacrifices and keeping night vigils so Nigeria will go down, all your prayers will be thrown back to you barbarians.
God bless President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.
God bless Nigeria and patriotic Nigerians.
God bless the 5 geopolitical zones of Nigeria.
May the worst calamity befall all the enemies of Nigeria.
