bbally: Oh wow. I wish you had mentioned it earlier. I already ordered for it. Nevertheless, since you recommend him, I might still get to buy something from him moving forward. Thanks for the reply. |

Alozera: Ok I get it |
![]() |
morikee: Exactly. Just wait and see how this week goes since it's with them already. |
![]() |
morikee: Unfortunately, all you can do is wait. If it were to be with Speedaf, you could get in touch with them to know what is going on but it's not yet with them. Hopefully before the week runs out |
![]() |
Toluene15: You can imagine. I just hope all is well because the other item spent four days with customs (including weekends) before it was handed over to Speedaf and I have received it. |
![]() |
eteebanky1: Very slow might not be the word but not as efficient as they used to be. As at last year, I used to items from them within two weeks. Now, I got my recent one in 23 days and the other combined delivery is stuck for almost ten days with customs. I know that's not Speedaf's fault. But they aren't just as efficient as they used to be. |

Alozera: Why $5? I was charged $2 when I opened mine |

Prechy2Ej: If you understand this country, life will be easy. I knew it was only a matter of time before Standard . It was a 5 Likes |

Babalegba: This is good news o. Or is it because a lot of items arrived the country between 1st and second week of April? Let's see how it goes. |

FireTheSun: The late response is no problems at all. As a matter of fact, I was just about going for the inverter and I thought I should check here one last time. You got me smiling. I hope your buddies bought you a bottle of wine for showing them the road? I must say that I'm caught in the same net as your friends on this inverter choice. I see a couple of people here saying the separate setup is better than the hybrid inverter for the fact that once the hybrid is faulty, everything goes out the window but for the separate setup, you can still salvage either of both CC and the inverter. Although, I considered the chances of both the separate setup also getting faulty at the same time - or even worse. I decided to JUMP on the bandwagon of "team separate" o. I'm actually going for the 1.6KVA Pure Sine Wave. Wanted to go for the 2000w but the CC specification says it should not go beyond 1440w (which I believe I still have gone against if I go for this 1.6KVA) or you will have to buy either two 60A CC or an 80A which this particular seller does not have. I guess this is where the hybrid outplays this "manual" setup ![]() Thanks for the time and advice Sir. I honestly do appreciate it. But is there anything else you think I might need besides these? |
![]() |
ceaser: Whoa. This is huge knowledge for me boss. I really do appreciate your reassurance on my choice of CC and inverter, especially. I have really been skeptical about it. I see a lot of sense in first loading the highest consuming gadget now that you mentioned it. You really saw deep into my mind on that one ![]() Thanks so much. I really do appreciate it. |

FireTheSun: OH wow! Thanks for that tip. I had in mind that ALL equipments do have the surge. I guess my only concern then is my fan. Thank you. BTW, I received delivery of my charge controller yesterday. I want to order for the attached inverter. Do you think it can serve for my said loads? Or would you recommend I buy a better and more reliable Pure Sine Wave inverter product here?
|
![]() |
dollarnaira: Wow. That's a lot. I guess I will have to load it little by little starting with the smallest and see how it goes. Thanks for your response. |
![]() |
dollarnaira: Yes I suppose so. I understand surge power consumes up to at least 3 times the wattage at the initial before it goes back to consuming the normal one (which is 130w in this case). I may be wrong though. So, assuming all my loads have this initial surge (say 1200w), am I still on the safe side? |
![]() |
dollarnaira: Ok. Thanks for your response. |

bbally: First of all, let me mention that I am a newbie and working on my first solar set up. I intend to buy this from Aliexpress. But can it serve for a maximum load of 400w? ( 43"smart tv, 5 x 5w LED bulbs, a wall fan 48w, phone, decoder, woofers 60w, laptop) I already have a the charge controller MrPow 60A. Also, I have plannned to buy an LFP battery of 200Ah and 2x300w mono crystal solar s. Will this particular inverter serve and for how long can the battery last in a day as I intend to go totally off grid? Cc: odinmambadi dollarnaira valto |

tetralogyfallot:Thanks a lot for this |
![]() |
tetralogyfallot: Wow. Thanks a lot for this boss. But the tubular batteries, are they in the same category as the lithium phosphate battery? Then, can 4 pcs of 320W s serve for the 1.5kva inverter or they must equal in amount? |
![]() |
MotivationKG: I don't really care if this is fiction or real but I laughed really REALLY hard. The other man hanging on the fan na real definition of hangover ![]() ![]() ![]() |

darediamond: Thanks a lot. Will get in touch. Modified : Couldn't reach you. It says number not available |
![]() |
darediamond:Ps: sorry for the late reply. Na the same power issue. Wow! This is very informative, boss. Thanks a lot for your help. I really do appreciate it ![]() Modified: I found this https://a.aliexpress.com/_mK6wUtE It has good reviews from Nigerians and other s from other countries. My concern now is the specification. Although, I would like to go for the 2200W (in case I add further load, say a deep freezer) or the 3000W. But what voltage and frequency should I go for? I'm not a tech person. Should I go for 12V or 24V and 50Hz or 60Hz for the 2200W? As for the MPPT, I found this https://a.aliexpress.com/_m0zZFNQ It seems to be the one with the highest rating. Although, some of the reviewers have concerns after use but some good number of the reviewers says it's OK. Again, which of the specifications should I go for for a, say, SINE WAVE of 2200W at 24V/50Hz? Should I still go for your recommendation of 48V at 50A or... 48V at 60A? Then, I noticed the SINE WAVE has either 12V or 24V options. No 36V or 48V. Hope say I no go hear "KABOOOM!!!" if I connect 48V/60A MPPT to a 12V or 24V SINE WAVE? ![]() ![]() For the s, I'll definitely go for your recommendation but will two 320W s serve a 2200W SINE WAVE? I don't know if I'm asking the right question. For the batteries, the term pack just confuse me finish ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I be total novice in this so please excuse my questions and jargons boss |

Abeg senior comrades, help me suggest. I really want to switch completely to solar. My light bills and what I actually get to use do not correlate anymore. What would you recommend for: a wall fan of 48W and a home theater (I can't the power consumption rate) 5 energy saving bulbs A laptop A phone 43" smart TV and A decoder And a video game console. What solar settings should I go for to stay completely off grid and what would be the total estimate? Cc: Rubyjade Tetralogyfallot Darediamond 1 Like |

airsaylongcome:Wow. You're the real deal. Nothing better than being in control of your own power. Peace of mind. Thanks a lot for your time. I have learned one or two and laughed as well. |
![]() |
airsaylongcome:Thanks for the boss. I'm not much of a TV person. I mostly only use it during weekends. I can cut it down if 1.5kva can serve me well. But how many batteries and s do you think can work with that? Judging by when you bought yours, it must be more expensive now. Please, do you have the current idea of the estimate or price for the 1.5kva? During the week, I'm not available from 8am to 6pm. So that should cut down my usage. But when you say you are VERY worried about the coming season, abeg shey na whitewalkers dey come ni? ![]() ![]() |
