Your major concerns should be on how to talk to the elders in your community to review the archaic laws and customs of your land.

Your grandfather has done well pushing his
daughter " your mom " to get another man. She needs to be happy too and move on. Her marriage vow/oath have broken so no point being single for the rest of her life.

As for your junior ones, you as the first born should try and bring in your late father relatives into this, let them pick up their responsibilities.

I wish your mom happy married life in advance.

What responsibilities are the late father's relatives picking up that a MOTHER ISN'T SUPPOSED TO PICK UP? U mean the late father's relatives shld share the children among themselves while the MOTHER GOES ON AND ENJOYS LIFE IN THE NAME OF MOVING ON?

Someone told me the primary auction rate is 24% while you’re saying 19.5.. now I’m more confused.
Omo my banks don’t want to give me much information. They’re insisting I go for secondary. Is there any bank or investment institution that can help with the primary auctioning when next it’s to happen

If you an open an with stanbic IBTC... It'll be good. They have the best rates for both primary and secondary market (as much as I can tell) and the best thing about stanbic is they have a link u can use to access tbills auction (both primary and secondary market) from the comfort of ur home, also... U can do primary market tbills for less than 50m as against some banks that insist on 50m threshold for primary market.

And yes, I've done all these with them, so it's not hearsay.

PS: I don't work with stanbic nor am I d to them. I'm just a satisfied customer.

FBNQUEST is first bank , I guess I will try the stanbic ibtc

While both of them belong to a parent company, they carry out different functions.

Go to any first bank branch and ask for tbills.

Just coming back from Ecobank and FBNQUEST to make inquiries about T Bill first:
Ecobank told me the rate is 16% for 365 days and 250 days only .
No 3 months or 6 months .
And the ecobank person told me I can’t use my Tbill to get Loan that I am giving the money to fed not them.
I am looking for options where I can get loan also .

I left there went to FBNQUEST in Port-Harcourt the fine sexy lady I met there told me they don’t do T Bills only MMF that the rate is 20% . But they will pay me quarterly which is for 3 month ,.

The lady told me they don’t give loan or I can not use it for loan too.

Wanted to invest 10m after calculating the interest it was about 450k for 3m month.

Just thinking about it . I was hoping they will pay the interest upfront like T bill.

Please house which investment option pay like T bill ?

Fun fact 🤩
I was already calculating the 20% for 3 months more than enough to pay my rent, dividend the 20% interest into 12 sound funny 😄.

I was hoping

If you want to get upfront, why not do tbills that's pays upfront.

You can go to stanbic ibtc or first bank (if you have an with them) . For about 360days, their rates should be around 19%+. The rate eco bank is giving you is too small.

Is this related to their BluNest platform?

No, it's totally different. This one shows you the bank's daily bids for secondary market and also, you can access the primary market auction on the platform.

Stanbic ibtc has a link that can be used to access tbills (both primary and secondary market), all you have to do is input ur number, then an OTP is sent to the phone number and email address linked to your .

Secondly, with this link, you get to see all secondary market rates available for each day in real time.

Thirdly, you can access the primary market auction even if you have less than 50 million (however, I wasn't able to choose my own rate, so I had to go with the bank's rate). STANBIC's last rate was 19.2 ish.

I tried it out this last auction and it worked. Just said to update you guys. It's really easy and seemless. So you can reach out to your officer to send you the link.

Good morning guys.

This is my first time of investing in primary market.

So on the form, I ticked FACE VALUE as against DISCOUNTED VALUE. Now my question is... With face value, isn't the whole amount (say 50million), supposed to be invested and I get my interest and principal returned at the end of the tenor? Because right now only a fraction of the principal was deducted (say 41million) while my interest (say 9million) was paid upfront (the interest is sitting in my now).

I want to be sure I did the right thing before ing stanbic ibtc because what I wanted was for the whole sum to be invested (in other to get the true yield rate) and I get my principal and interest paid at the end of the tenor.

Thanks...

Let's not come here and start blaming tinubu or hardship, the man is clearly not supposed to impregnant any women because he is clearly an irresponsible thing

Ladies should really be more careful about the kind of man they marry.

What about the woman, isn't she also consider her financial situation before taking in? Or didn't both of them agree before she got pregnant?

Will heaven fall if the woman also bear some financial responsibilities, or isn't she an adult too, or isn't she part of the family they are building?

Guys, i have a question. I bidded for Tbills at the primary market through my bank on the 5th of March for a 364 days tenor. I was surprised, I got 16.75% , which was different from what the stop rate was of 18.39. Though, while filling the form, I left the bidded rate empty, cos I wasn't too sure of what to put and my officer seems naive too. The question is, since i didnt quote my rate, am I not supposed to get the FG rate? Please someone should advice me, thank you.

If u left that place blank, meaning you are going with the bank's rate (which is most likely lower than the stop rate).

Which bank did you do the bidding with?

Children are likely to love their mum more at the end of the day no matter what you do as a man.

So my advice to men out there is; make money, take care of your kids and make out some bonding time for them, also, as much as you can, make sure you attend to their emotional and psychological needs.

Most importantly, whilst taking care of your wife, children and family, make sure you take care of yourself and your health.

Lastly, save money FOR YOUR OLD AGE and never depend on your children as a RETIREMENT PLAN.

While she's saying 200k is not enough (which in reality it may not be) , let me ask this pertinent question... What is her own FINANCIAL CONTRIBUTION to the getting of baby things? Abi is her own just to write list and go to the market to buy everything she sees? Or isn't she also the mother of the baby, who should also make financial contributions to getting the baby all it needs?

If they are safe and secured by esp SEC they are the best in the country currently, considering they have been around since 2017 without going down.

Yes, the interest rate is really mouth watering, considering tbills rates are declining presently.

I think I'll give it a try.

I did with my bank, I am in Diapora.

all I did was email my officer.

I just sent a written instruction and it was done the same day.

Your officer will communicate the time for which you must send in your instructions, handwritten instructions via email.

Which bank do you use please?

I don't know why they designed it that way. However, it's simple Just calculate it yourself and remove what's to be the upfront.

Personally I like it that way. It's a form of reinvestment of interest with the investment and it will make you get exact yield.

Yes, so this means the 20.5% discounted rate shown on the website will have a true yield of approximately 25%.

Also, everything is calculated automatically on the website once you input the amount you are investing. However, I noticed their management fees/charges is on the high side (compared to other banks like UBA I've used for TBILLS before.)

Hi, please does anyone have an idea if it is possible for me to:

1. Open an with stanbic IBTC bank,

2. Get my details and mobile application and also

3. Invest in primary/secondary market tbills

WITHOUT going to the bank branch? Like can all these be done via email as I am unable to visit any bank at the moment?

Lol.... Them don nack u JOHN...

U have some options here...but first;

1. How do u know u r d owner of the child, since u stated clearing her line of job. Do u think you are the only one that slept with her without protection?

2. Have u collected back the money you sent to her to terminate the pregnancy? Very important grin

3. Do not.. I REPEAT... DO NOT MARRY A PUBLIC PROPERTY

4. Go for a DNA TEST after the child has been born.

Your options are...
1. Rent a house for her in a separate neighbourhood and take care of her until she gives birth.

2. Insist she remains in her father's house while u send her upkeep n visit

3. Relocate from your neighbourhood but keep in touch with her and take care of her

BUT IN ALL U DO... COLLECT UR MONEY BACK FIRST MAKE WE SEE FRONT WITH THAT ONE grin grin grin
