KingCassy: If you an open an with stanbic IBTC... It'll be good. They have the best rates for both primary and secondary market (as much as I can tell) and the best thing about stanbic is they have a link u can use to access tbills auction (both primary and secondary market) from the comfort of ur home, also... U can do primary market tbills for less than 50m as against some banks that insist on 50m threshold for primary market. And yes, I've done all these with them, so it's not hearsay. PS: I don't work with stanbic nor am I d to them. I'm just a satisfied customer. 3 Likes |

Tolu2024: If you want to get upfront, why not do tbills that's pays upfront. You can go to stanbic ibtc or first bank (if you have an with them) . For about 360days, their rates should be around 19%+. The rate eco bank is giving you is too small. |

dammybrite: No, it's totally different. This one shows you the bank's daily bids for secondary market and also, you can access the primary market auction on the platform. 1 Like |

Stanbic ibtc has a link that can be used to access tbills (both primary and secondary market), all you have to do is input ur number, then an OTP is sent to the phone number and email address linked to your . Secondly, with this link, you get to see all secondary market rates available for each day in real time. Thirdly, you can access the primary market auction even if you have less than 50 million (however, I wasn't able to choose my own rate, so I had to go with the bank's rate). STANBIC's last rate was 19.2 ish. I tried it out this last auction and it worked. Just said to update you guys. It's really easy and seemless. So you can reach out to your officer to send you the link. 3 Likes |

Good morning guys. This is my first time of investing in primary market. So on the form, I ticked FACE VALUE as against DISCOUNTED VALUE. Now my question is... With face value, isn't the whole amount (say 50million), supposed to be invested and I get my interest and principal returned at the end of the tenor? Because right now only a fraction of the principal was deducted (say 41million) while my interest (say 9million) was paid upfront (the interest is sitting in my now). I want to be sure I did the right thing before ing stanbic ibtc because what I wanted was for the whole sum to be invested (in other to get the true yield rate) and I get my principal and interest paid at the end of the tenor. Thanks... |

Will heaven fall if the woman also bear some financial responsibilities, or isn't she an adult too, or isn't she part of the family they are building? |

Children are likely to love their mum more at the end of the day no matter what you do as a man. So my advice to men out there is; make money, take care of your kids and make out some bonding time for them, also, as much as you can, make sure you attend to their emotional and psychological needs. Most importantly, whilst taking care of your wife, children and family, make sure you take care of yourself and your health. Lastly, save money FOR YOUR OLD AGE and never depend on your children as a RETIREMENT PLAN. 4 Likes 1 Share |

While she's saying 200k is not enough (which in reality it may not be) , let me ask this pertinent question... What is her own FINANCIAL CONTRIBUTION to the getting of baby things? Abi is her own just to write list and go to the market to buy everything she sees? Or isn't she also the mother of the baby, who should also make financial contributions to getting the baby all it needs?

freeman67: Yes, so this means the 20.5% discounted rate shown on the website will have a true yield of approximately 25%. Also, everything is calculated automatically on the website once you input the amount you are investing. However, I noticed their management fees/charges is on the high side (compared to other banks like UBA I've used for TBILLS before.) |

Natbrowny: You've said what I had in mind. We r all criticising 'THE TIMING' simply because it was 2FACE dat dropped the news, if it were the other way around, we wouldn't be saying TIMING IS EVERYTHING, ETC. In fact, we would have praised Annie for doing that. Will Annie have been conscious of 'TIMING' too if she was the one that BROKE THE NEWS? Lol.... Them don nack u JOHN... U have some options here...but first; 1. How do u know u r d owner of the child, since u stated clearing her line of job. Do u think you are the only one that slept with her without protection? 2. Have u collected back the money you sent to her to terminate the pregnancy? Very important ![]() 3. Do not.. I REPEAT... DO NOT MARRY A PUBLIC PROPERTY 4. Go for a DNA TEST after the child has been born. Your options are... 1. Rent a house for her in a separate neighbourhood and take care of her until she gives birth. 2. Insist she remains in her father's house while u send her upkeep n visit 3. Relocate from your neighbourhood but keep in touch with her and take care of her BUT IN ALL U DO... COLLECT UR MONEY BACK FIRST MAKE WE SEE FRONT WITH THAT ONE ![]() ![]() ![]() 1 Like |
