Church is the body of Christ and can do more in of food inflation. Instead of buying land to build more churches or more schools , why not buy lands to encourage farmings among ? It is not as if Nigeria is in middle of Sahara desert where water and vegetation is scare. Called it Redeemer farms or moutain of fire farms e.t.c A few groups of can go into farming and the church can provide security to guide such food during harvests. Church can buy foods at a discount and sell food at a reasonable price

I will like to ask if you are an active member of a church?

I asked because if you are you can advise the leadership of your church to do this instead of coming online to be disturbing innocent people. The last time I checked, my churched have done this before. I was a member of a committee that actually selected hundreds of people for training on different parts of farming in the church I belong to.

Churches have established schools from elementary to University level employing thousands of people (almost all the churches have universities from Catholic to Anglican, Baptist to the penticostal churches).

Some of them have trained people which is a way of empowering them. My church has a wing for this and we do such empowerment twice a year.

Please stop disturbing the church, ask your political leaders for help. Why are you comparing apple with orange?

Nigeria just needs to build our real economy by producing things we consume and if possible increase our export.

Once we can do that, the rate of inflation will go down and naira will appreciate in value. What we were having before was a cosmetic growth not built on the fundamental foundation of economic development. It was solely on crude export, fixed exchange rate that skewed towards the elite that had political influence thereby create arbitrage for only a select few. That was not sustainable which was why Nigeria could not meet with its obligations before

Our problem for a long time is the artificial growth we were having.

Let's produce food for our consumption and export, produce textiles we wear and if possible export. We need to reduce our consumption of foreign food and materials and encourage local production. Ina very short time, our economy will grow.
