004gist: After saying all these, you used Otti and rubbished it. Abia under Otti has received more than 700B. Only Port Harcourt road and a few township roads rehabilitated is what he has to show for that humongous revenue. Nothing in education, health, agriculture, job creation, ICT, youth empowerment, women empowerment, transportation, industrialization, even the civil servants aren't paid the same minimum wage as obtained in other states. He did wayojustment. Why would you compare criminal Aro man to these people? Civil servants are forced to operate Signature bank s. Projects money are lodged in Signature bank s before they're accessed. Signature bank has grew from two branches in 2023 to 22 branches in 2024. People who reported losses in 2023 now report billions in profit in 2024. Otto's bane is corruption. He's too corrupt and bereft of ideas to transform Abia. Take aside Port Harcourt road, you can't mention any other remarkable thing Otti has done or is doing. But his mates has done similar projects and more. Take Peter Mba for example or Soludo or even the Ebonyi governor. These men has projects that develops their economies beyond road constructions. |

emkz: Truth and Facts Are Sacred and we Must All Face it 1-If the PDP then Rulers, the Former Governors - had listened to Mama Okonjo-Iweala that ' lets Save Against The Raining ☔ Days/ years, would Nigeria not be better? 2- if the $16Billion Dollars( Na DOLLARS O! - on Light 🚨🕯️- during PDP - was not Stolen by Corruption, Wouldn't Nigeria moved Forward? 3.If PDP had Constructed the 🏗️🚧: -Lagos Ibadan--Express Roads, despite the Fact that it was awarded, - East West Roads, despite the Facts that those in the National Assembly then like( Sen.Odia,Sen Saraki, Ekweremadu,etc/ Others - had stood their ground to make Nigeria Works, this Very Roads and Other Places- Are Now just being Completed by the APC- True or False? Anyone Still ing PDP is an enemy of Nigeria- you can hide under LP/ PDP Sympathersers, just to deceive Una self. -The TRUTH is that We were Not Productive Economy- but a Buying and Selling One( Just Consumers), even our Oil- Was Being Sold then in Crude-Forms- while the Money 🤑 were disappearing under PDP- A PARTY BUILT - TO SHARE OUR RESOURCES . NOW,WE HAVE REFINERIES - Private ( Dangote) and Others Coming Up( NNPC ,etc). • The Present APC - Should Desolve - All the DISCOS in Nigeria - for Disappointing Performances - for they Are Not EXPERTS,but Party Men. Call In the EXPERTS like General Electric 💡 and Others,by given them A Marching Order - as when the Lights will be Permanent,in Nigeria🚨 . We moved from there. •Attention President Tinubu: -What Nigeria want from you is - INCLUSIVE - Economy- For the Youths and the Masses Are Not Doing Business. - For Example - NIGERIANS are Not doing BUSINESSES - because there is No Money (N💰),to Use For Businesses,as Inflations during the Refineries Collapse, during the Naira Realignment - have increased All Prices, including Local Goods and Importations. -Since the CBN - is Insisting that You can Only Borrow at 27% Interest Rates+ 3% Banks Rates( i.e 32% Interest on Borrowings- MAKING IT - THE HIGHEST INTEREST RATES IN THE WORLD,Haba! Solutions: 1- Let the Borrowing Rates Comes Down to a Single Rate of 3- 6% per annum on Small and Medium Scale Businesses - for Individuals Can Approach their Banks to Borrow again in Nigeria. 2- Tell the Banks- to allow NIGERIANS to Borrow At A Cheaper ( Low Rates of 3% p.a.- For More Inclusive Economy - this is How The Asian Tigers Lifted Poverty Away from the People ( the Masses) -Economy- should Not be Built around Elites Or the So Called Foreign Investors Alone but Must be People's Oriented. 3• Lessen the Criteria of Banks Borrowings- to Ordinary NIGERIANS - who can easily go into their Banks -to Borrow as low as N2- 5-Million,to meet Urgent Business Needs,e.g Farmers Co- Operatives Should Be Used as A Collateral - To Stand For ALL Farmers In Their Respective Areas and Zones. 4•Also,Fed Govt Should give Consideration to Farmers - by given them One Percent (1% Interest on Loan Facilities) - to enable Youths and Others - Venture to such Businesses. 5•In Facts, Special -Grants - without Political Undertones - Should be Given to Small -Scale Businesses, Including Agriculture too- by so doing, Foodstuffs Will Be Enough, with Reduced Inflammation Prices. 6- Banks Should Reduce the burden of their Criteria ( bring this House Documents, bring that,etc)- let's Make the Over 200-Nigerians Inclusive by Participation in the Nigerian Economy- Make It A Home Grown Economy. - This Is How The Indian - Govt- involves the1.45- Billion People Of India and they Are Exporters of Various Foods Today. India Now Have A PRODUCTIVE ECONOMY ( Exports Oriented)- Not just to build Consumers KISS 😘 the TRUTH! |

raddyworld: Maybe you are a school dropout If you have a basic knowledge of economic you wont say those things 1. Tax is one way to generate Fund but it is not the best mode to revamp a developing economy, high tax + subsidy removal thats a combo that negate " enabling environment" Western countries live on high productivity check there net export, tax follows as supplement. You can black wash "brilliance" when it pretty obvious the man is just a crook who has no honor or integrity A developing economy heavily taxified and void of subsidy is a call for Impoverishing the people 1 Like |

chidiokay: According to former Governor Donald Duke, leadership is shift work. Do your own shift and ensure you actually do the work required. PDP left 12 years ago. During their shift, they created a massive mess. It was the mess I highlighted. The fraudulent subsidy legacy of PDP is gone, thanks to APC. The fraudulent dollar subsidy propelled by PDP is also gone, thanks to APC. The insecurity business masterminded under PDP where our children were kidnapped for sport is being tackled by APC. Refineries were started by private individuals and others are building refineries during APC. APC provided enablaing environments for businesses to thrive. Despite naysayers postulating that the refineries were scams, we can see them coming on stream. ASUU strikes which were national festivals have reduced during APC. If you can successfully deny any of the above, please try. Otherwise, it that there is progress. Perhaps you do not want to see it because your mind is probably attuned to negativity. |

emkz: Direct question ![]() It is not Donald duke that will school us leadership is "continuity" we know. Pdp made or left a Mess was that not the undoing, was that not why Apc called for change and Nigerians kicked pdp out .. reminding me Pdp made a mess at this time is invalid & ridiculous to the ear. When you pick up stats of companies that fold up under Buhari & Tinubu collectively how does it resonate enabling environment Private refineries are not Tinubu achievement it all started before him ... the public refinery that concerns Tinubu the most why as he not revamp it as Petroleum minister. With the updates emanating from our local refineries what as Tinubu done differently. ASUU strike is not an achievement were.our educational infrastructures and system are dilapitated Subsidy is gone everything Tinubu promised from the savings where is it .Tinubu promised 10% gdp growth yearly he hasnt meet 4% ... is that not glaring Failure From Security to electricity, agriculture and capital project where is the improvement. Senator Wabara’s criticism of President Tinubu’s claim of economic revival captures the very real hardships Nigerians have endured, especially with soaring food prices and inflation spikes in the months following the reforms. It is undeniable that many Nigerians have felt the pinch deeply, and the frustration expressed is understandable. However, it is also important to recognize that some key indicators are beginning to show signs of improvement. For instance, the pump price of petrol has started to come down, electricity supply has improved in certain areas, and food inflation, while still high, has recently moderated somewhat. These developments suggest that the worst phase of economic pain may be stabilizing and that gradual recovery is underway. That said, the relief is not yet widespread or fully felt by the majority, so claims of outright economic revival remain premature. The istration inherited serious structural problems from the previous government, and some of Tinubu’s reforms, though painful in the short term, are necessary for long-term stability. Wabara’s assertion, while valid in highlighting the current struggles, tends to overlook these early positive trends and the complexity of Nigeria’s economic situation. To cap it all, the economic reality is mixed: Nigerians are still grappling with high costs of living and poverty, but there are emerging signs of progress that could pave the way for genuine improvement if sustained and ed by effective policies. Therefore, dismissing the government’s claims entirely risks ignoring the nuanced picture of gradual recovery, even if much work remains to be done to translate reforms into tangible benefits for all Nigerians. |
