AerialMapper: Please, don't even go there sir, you will shake the table. ![]() This APC istration is truly lucky to have a person like Wike help cover their flaws here in the FCT. , APC (Buhari and Tinubu combined) till date has never won a presidential election here in Abuja, not even within the polling units around the State house or Villa. This may not change in 2027 unless President Tinubu does more in other sectors of the economy, beyond what the minister is currently doing here in Abuja. Thumbs up to this istration π though for these tangible improvements, because Buhari and his then FCT minister, Mohammed Musa Bello, were total failures for eight precious years. One of the very few notable roads in Abuja commissioned by them just in 2023 (less than 3 years ago), before the general elections, from Naf Valley area in Asokoro to Check point in Nyanya, is constantly being scrapped and patched up around several failed portions of the less than 5.5 kilometer road, leading to countless accidents so far. Not like any other party is better, but nobody should hype APC here in Abuja yet, where enlightened folks see beyond all these cosmetic stuff. Just wait until you hear the staggering bills (in multi billions), that has been set aside for, and the actual amount gulped by these 17 'landmark projects', that is making Wike so elated and thanking Mr Tinubu this much. ![]() Nonetheless, thumps up to this istration, they really deserve some accolades π. |

But why all these evil? This is just so painful. One minute you are alive, and the next minute; a demon in human body ambushes you and your defenceless loved ones, killing everyone in the most gruesome manner ever. Is this not a systematic ethnic cleansing going on in both Benue and Plateau state? The more the government only condemns these attacks, but remain aloof with zero response, the more of these evil we will keep reading. 4 Likes |

thatigboman:All these things are already spelt out on the City's Master Plan. That road you are seeing from Shehu Shagari Way cutting through Asokoro to Eagles Square-CBD, and Maitama will go all the way through Yemi Osinbajo Blvd in Katampe, Jahi, and with a flyover at Gilmor Junction, then further to Gwarinpa on 2nd Avenue (Wole Soyinka Way). Wike is only doing what past ministers did not do, simply because time and development has made it expedient for such public infrastructure. Residents of Jahi 2 village especially and others on this very route, just get prepared ahead of time. You can never defeat the FG when it comes to issues of overriding public interest. |

You want to put your life on the line, if need be. Is this just your imagination or you just want to trend? Where were you since he got arrested years ago? You are only looking to appear 'media relevant', like OUK's phantom advocacy for Kanu's release 2 years ago, when the senator even stated his readiness to stand as surety. 10 Likes 2 Shares |

Handling such a situation is quit difficult. It has to do with people's mindset or established predisposition to expections in marriage. Just pray to marry the right person with the right mindset from the onset or else, sorry. In times like this, as a couple, maximum understanding and working together to achieve the same objective is needed. Mind you, this overbearing entitlement mentality of some partners is swinging both ways in today's world where harsh economic realities is continously threatening people's mental health and well-being. I can't stop thanking God for my situation, and I just pray for His unending grace. |

Aside being a former 'military president', he has always been a very reserved, and private person. I watched him in an interview sometimes ago with Trust Tv at his residence in Minna, where he was asked a similar question. He calmly responded, informing the interviewer, that this has always been his lifestyle even before and after his military career, that put him in such limelight in the past. To answer your question directly, IBB has always been a very smart, intelligent and rather introverted individual, who talks less, comfortable being alone or with very few close friends, his four children and grand children. Before and after the death of his only wife, Maryam in December 2009, he has always been reserved. Since August 1993, when he was just 52 years old, and handed over power to late Chief Ernest Shonekan, he has never intentionally put himself or his family in limelight within or outside Nigeria. So, unlike some other past leaders, that like to be always talked about, seen, and heard; IBB at age 83 years today - any supposed illness due to age, has nothing to do with his respected and reserved lifestyle. 5 Likes 4 Shares |

Alright, after you rig that election again you'll be shouting the usual... "Go to court!" naija4life247:Yes, clap for yourself. Infact tell them that the grabbing and snatching will continue in 2027, so that they will be angry as far as our Jagaban just hold unto power till 2031. Letβs just keep pretending here on social media, as if this renewed scam is favorable to us and our families. Let us pretend as if food, shelter, transportation, education, electricity and healthcare is very affordable for us. So long as this our palliative government keeps giving us palliative rice, we are happy. One day soon, they will to share stew too. Infact, let the systemic decay continue, we in the West we will bear this harsh economy and bad governance, as far as we make sure those Easterners will never be President. This is the usual narrative. However, according to Dr Atutu Poyoyo (1842), child wey say him mama no go sleep at all, him sef go do night vigil taya. 8 Likes 2 Shares |

jonescosmos:You are right boss. Many homes and businesses have adopted several energy backup installations, like use of only inverters with batteries. However, your last statement above may not reflect reality. At the moment in Abuja, solar installations is on fewer than 40% of the roof tops. This means that, more than 60% of the roof tops have no single . Anyone can observe this using google earth or any app for satellite imagery. Agreed, across the entire FCT not just within Abuja municipal, there's a growing migration to solar energy. However, (as at August, 2024) stating that "almost every roof in Abuja has s on them" is a fallacy; as more than 60% of the roofs here don't have solar s on them. Maximum respect boss π. |

Read what this young man wrote up there. Although it sounds a bit harsh, nevertheless this narrative gradually resonates in the minds of other Nigerians who are neither of these tribes. Quite unfortunate if you ask me. 7 Likes |

If only majority of Nigerians vote the best candidates during elections, without ethnic bais, just the way detribalized FCT-Abuja votes always reflects, we would not be where we are today. Vote only the best amongst the candidates. β’Why do you think former president Buhari never won in Abuja? Even in polling units around the villa, he couldn't win both in 2015 and in 2019 as incumbent. β’ Why do you think a Bola Tinubu could not get as little as 25% of votes across FCT in 2023. Even, the villa he currently occupies, he couldn't win at the polling unit there. They simply manipulated some election results from other parts of the country, thanks to selfish people like Wike of Rivers, Ortom of Benue, Sule of Nasarawa, even Sanwo-Olu of Lagos were he came second, etc. He simply can't deceive the enlightened people in FCT, as majority don't vote individuals based on ethnic, tribal, or religious sentiments. The FCT-Abuja residents are just too woke for any chalatant to manipulate with campaign shenanigans. Once another elections year comes again, some parts of Nigeria become senseless, and get easily deceived by politicians to mortgage their future yet again. The cyclical movement continues, and this in turn stagnates the progress of a blessed country like Nigeria. When will Nigeria π³π¬ be blessed with true leadership? 2 Likes |
