BigDickProblems: Reset all to default settings, dont limit the charging current and try it out again. That was how their service centre technician did to mine. |

Pls how would you rate the fan noise in comparison to other similar hybrids like felicity, sako, Cworth or any one you' ve had with before? |

Dam5reey1: This is likely due to the UnderVoltage Protection Recovery by the BMS after the battery is left idle for some time. Have you or any other s here experienced signal interference with any SAKO hybrid inverter? ( E.g DSTV signal dropping, phone screen misbehaving/ acting weird and laptop touchpad not working while charging the device) Has anyone experience issues like these with any other hybrid inverters pls. |

mangolpupa: What is the "Best PV range" rating stated for your Sako mppt? It could also because of that. My Sako hybrid ( wider range series ...30-400VDC) proved to be highly more efficient than my stand alone MPPT CC. The only issue i have with it is the interference with signals. |

omotoda: It all depends on what is more suitable for you, from your personal point of view ......weighing the cost and the stress involved. Of course, the other option is to use your present inverters as @dollarnaira said. However to avoid undue stress on your BMS and the batteries * you and the other s of the inverter can act as a human BMS to enforce the LVD( cos some units can drain your battery to 10v before disconnecting). OR * Get an external LVD OR * Get a battery bank that will conveniently power your loads without any significant drop in the voltage. Personally, after weighing the above options especially the bolded part and the cost of the Lithium battery i realised that the @Dam5reey1 option was better for me. |

KINGKONG: in a set up like this, i believe reducing the charge controller charging current from 120A to 20-30A will prevent "choking" the battery with excessive current rush. However, what i believe senior can help us clarify is... At the max current of 120A he should potentially be able to generate 1740w( 580w X3) After reducing the current to 20A to protect the batteries, will that affect the maximum power that can be generated ? can he still power the same load like before during peak sunlight periods? |

Dam5reey1: Please wont they work when connected in series to get the 48v? If yes, what are the disadvantages of doing that compared to the above? |

Hi. I need help with Felicity 100A charging controller. It keeps giving high battery voltage error ( error 04) after working for about 1 hour with load of about 500w during sunny days. The battery is a 24v battery but the CC reading can go as high as > 53v any time the error happens. Measuring the battery voltage with voltmeter ... From the battery terminals the voltage remains within normal range ( e.g 24.7v) but at the CC terminal i get high readings) The PV is 8 250w s with total of 2000w in 4S2P configuration. I have tried the following without success * changing the battery from Lithium 24v to Amaron quanta. * changing the battery selection from auto to 24v. * using different Absorption and float voltages (e.g 13.7 and 13.9) I need help solving this pls @Wonder1844 , @futurenix how did you solve yours please

Please who has idea on how i can get a voltmeter with buzzer/ alarm as shown below. I need a device that can alert me or disconnect the load (LOW VOLTAGE ALARM or Low Voltage Disconnect) before my battery BMS will trip off. [img2][/img]
