The British PM and his Far Right opposition are very dishonest and vote seeking politicians. Anything to say or do to remind or take over power is fair game to them even when they know it’s just a short fix |

gulfer: Okay, because I am still looking out for that clarification. You can run but the long hands of justice by men or if you elude men, by God must catch up with every wicked person. The love of money not money is the root of all sorts of injurious things and those reaching for this lust of money as demonstrated by this wicked man and his cohorts stab themselves with many pains as they will now experience. 1 Like |

Many with valid ission now get refused visas. UK shouldn’t be the first option for Nigerians anymore. The politics of Net Migration has caught up with intending Nigerian migrants. UK is in full ‘far-right’ mode. |

Just to add: How’s possible the guy was arrested, beaten and tired but there’s another news he attempted escaping from the country and was found as faraway as the Badagary borders? Or is the guy arrested at the border a different person? Did the prime suspect arrested at Enugu escape lawful detention? This matter never clear. |

The introduction of the new National Anthem was rushed. It’s unfortunate that our politicians are over zealous when they believe they are taking the right decisions. Overzealousness under any circumstance is counterproductive. The introduction of this anthem should have followed a pattern - allowing time to teach students and citizens using the NOA and radio/television juggles for a 1 year period before full implementation and adaptation. Watch the Nigerian Police management videos and you will see that even the police and armed forces cannot sing the anthem - a national prayer. Staffers at the presidency can’t do better. Quite shameful! 13 Likes 3 Shares |

Reference: What I see is the load on the old stairs pillar and it’s still a simply ed structure. I am not saying it’s the safest way to do things. I think the building code for Nigeria should be a better guide to determine if this is compliant or not. I suppose it’s an improvisation and an attempt to maintain at the least the existing structural integrity of the building as knocking down the old stairs might weaken the structure and make it collapse risk. |

mikaelzX: I use Grok a lot lately but I didn’t need whilst responding to this. I will agree it sounded AI-like, maybe because I have some engineering background and did some course in structure. I didn’t consult Grok for this. 1 Like |

Cars are more expensive in Nigeria? This LC300 is currently between £74K-£77k in the UK It’s either custom duty effect or too high a profit margin! |

This picture can’t tell the complete story. But this is does not look like a mistake. I would assume this is an old structure undergoing a makeover and the contractor believes knocking down the existing stairs will weaken the the structural integrity of the building and so prefers this design that looks like attempt to retain structural stability. It’s also possible that the under stairs will get knocked down later. So this photograph can’t make for an informed opinion. 471 Likes 35 Shares |

csamii: They sit in Nigeria or Africa and write as they wish, blame Nigeria’s backwardness on others but themselves. I worked in Nigeria for 8years before I ran for dear life. There was and still is nothing like ‘Work Life Balance’ in Nigeria and for less pay I worked minimum 12 hours everyday as a sales manager. No weekend rest, always on the road even at midnight. The pay was less. While here in UK, my maximum booked weekly hours is 37hours. Overtime or what we call ‘Rest Day Working’ must follow the rules of not more 13 consecutive days of working, not more than 70 hours a week and not more 12 hours per shift in compliance with ‘Hidden Rule’. So I am not working today because it’s my Rest Day. From Friday next week to Tuesday I will stay at home as a long weekend. If a person out of greed decides to do double jobs, why should the blame fall on the UK government? Nigerians abroad come under more pressure from people back home than from the country they live in. Everybody wants to depend on you because you are abroad, and you want to be a good person or even show off to your kilts and kins. Unlike Nigeria, where people work for peanut pay that can’t help them or their families and still do unpaid overtime, folks here doing overtime or double jobs get paid for it. I don’t wish to even step foot into Africa, I am happier and safer here! 9 Likes 1 Share |

Efuaye: You mean the police officer will let himself die if the driver of a car that almost ran him over was white? Black people and defending rubbish. You are not asking how the officer found himself on the bonnet of a moving car. Why the driver didn’t stop until after shots were fired. Crime has no colour. Black criminals shouldn’t be spared for fear of a societal backlash. 2 Likes |

It’s actually very disturbing to see Nigerians of this age and time rooting for South Africa - a notoriously xenophobic country with special hatred for Nigerian immigrants in South Africa. From their Politicians without exclusion of their President, South Africa is committing genocide against not only whites but also blacks. Why Nigerians of all countries feel they are obligated to defend a xenophobic South Africa from a man bold enough to call a spade a spade still beats me. |

There’s no way you can separate the school the lad attended from the LGA. So the bigots should simply swallow this bitter pill and drink some water. The Chairman should actually do more - monetary reward and scholarships to help raise the BP of his bigot tribe people. 18 Likes 1 Share |

What’s the benefit of being a Nigerian citizen again? If you are not black, everyday Nigerians won’t recognise you as a citizen, you will always be a foreigner. Nigerians are trooping to other countries begging for citizenship and claiming they have rights to be so recognised but their hellish country is so stingy to grant citizenship to even women married to Nigerians that only 1006 persons have received citizenship in 15 years! News like this will make UK increase the number of years for ILR to 15 years. 1 Like |

Na who get money to waste go contest election wey the result sheet don ready! It’s a selection already done and dusted. If Nigeria politicians get sense, Tinubu should go unopposed as the country is effectively a one party dictatorship. That’s the only way Tinubu next regime will lose credibility from the start but if any big wig contest against him, they give him credibility because he will win before selection day. 10 Likes |
