Beautiful

As an Igbo girl, look at the dressing of these people and look at the nonsense you wear back in your village. Even if you were not fortunate enough to be born by a Yoruba father, do you want your kids to fall into the same misfortune?
Don't you want your children elegantly dressed like this?

Be smarter than your mothers, marry a Yoruba man.

There are over 250 or more ethnic groups in Nigeria, but you left a day meant to celebrate your cultural heritage and event to worry about Igbos? What exactly is the correlation abeg...when we call out the deeper insecurity/low self esteem complexes of your people they will say we're playing victims.

If its infrastructure Hope Uzodimma has done well, but his scorecard in areas of insecurity especially with these pockets of fulani and ESN attacks has been poor. I hope the next governor does better. But APC hasn't done so badly in Imo State overall, we just need better

I knew he would soon depart as BrainJotter reminded everyone including good and bad people last year that he was still alive.
My dad wasn't sick until I posted his picture on my status celebrating his birthday. He didn't see 24 months afterward.
Sometimes let the legend be. Don't bring them to social media.

Well at 95 he has lived a very long and fulfilled life so there was no better time to have his song celebrated than when it was. Brainjotter did a great job in making people know and celebrate him more and also give him his flowers. I'm sure he died a even happier man...

Barring any injuries and with all we've seen so far in this unity cup and friendly, what will be your final squad for the must win fixtures against South Africa and Rwanda come September?

I'm aware there are lots of Benue soldiers in the Nigerian army (especially from the Tiv axis), they've always loved the military right from time and lots of the very famous retired Generals in Nigeria are from that Benue/Plateau axis. So how the Bleep are the Benue soldiers allowing this wanton genocide to persist in their homeland? abi does the call to serve Nigeria also exclude defending your region when its on fire? Nigeria is truly a mess. Meanwhile Tinubu is busy campaigning for 2027 already when he hasn't even finished 2025 yet. The way its going now, the whole Benue-plateau might be annexed by the Fulani militia before the turn of the next decade...Usman Dan Fodio's dream of conquering that axis might be a reality soon after his Jihad was halted there.

What a joke.

Imo State?

Terrible. That can't be happening.
That was my reaction as well, this is what Hope Uzodimma has brought on a once peaceful state. But I trust my Imo people to resist the fulani barbarians.

For those shocked at herdsmen attacks in Imo State (a state where the fulani herdsmen have never dared to attack much less encroach for years), welcome to the APC government of Imo state under the disaster called Hopeless Uzodimma.

Imo state uncharacteristic of it's history now faces a menace of herders invading communities especially in Owerri west and Owerri North axis. That's why no sane people should consider ever voting a useless party like APC. Check all the states that APC was forced on them and check the sudden upsurge of herdsmen attacks- Edo, Imo, Ondo, Benue etc...patterns never lies, always pay attention.

I think say na only victim mentality talk before but it's so glaring that there is a serious agenda to suppress the Igbos in this country, like the hate and wickedness is now so obvious that it makes me cry for the Igbos. For the Igbos, I really apologize for downplaying your frustrations and agitations...I'm truly sorry.

What actually amaze me in all these middle-belt killings is the fact that 26% of our armed forces (comprising of police, army(navy, airfoece), civil defence, immigration, prison, customs and fire service) are Benue state indegenes, 20% are from Kaduna state - especially Kaduna South, another 20% are from plateau and taraba states. there is hardly any family in the middle-belt that doesn't have one or more uniformed personnel in their family!

THAT MEANS 66% OF OUR ARMED FORCES ARE FROM THE MIDDLE-BELT!

AND YET WITH ALL THE ARMS AVAILABLE TO THEM BY VIRTUE OF THEIR PROFESSION, THEY STILL ALLOW THEMSELVES TO BE CANNON FODDERS AND SITTING DUCK FOR FULANI TERRORIST HEADSMEN!

Something is wrong somewhere.

Truly baffling how a region can have a preponderance and abundance of their people in the armed forces both from the NCO to officer cadet levels yet fold their hands and do absolutely
nothing while a concerted genocide is going on in the Middle belt, same reason I can't understand all the killings happening in the core North when they also dominate all the armed forces from army down to the paramilitary ranks...even Yorubas who have a sitting president and all the current high ranking security positions controlled by their kinsmen haven't been spared from this Fulani killings especially in that Ondo axis.

It's only Igbos who are disadvantaged currently in of having all the means of executive power combined with useless leadership from their governors, yet have had to depend on sheer determination to avoid getting conquered by the better armed Fulani bandits.

You should have said this when Biafrans overran the Midwest during the war.

Go and ask about those who drove the Biafrans out of your land.
No where in this thread or topic was Biafra mentioned, but trust a Yoruba slimy worm to somehow drag Biafra/Igbos into a completely unrelated conversation. And for the records, the forces that pushed back Biafrans from the Midwest (after Victor Banjo had already sabotaged the Biafran offensive and momentum) were mostly from the Middle belt region and parts of the Midwest especially the Edo/Delta axis...yaribas in their usual main character syndrome complex always love to ascribe all the accolades of victory to themselves when historical facts have debunked those egocentric and duplicitous lies.

I asked you to list me any category where Ibo best Yoruba, you go dey mention 1962 history. What should I do with 1962 history? Make I use am eat akpu or wetin?

Anthony Joshua has held the WBA, IBF, and WBO titles twice. They no born Dick Tiger well to measure up to him in glory.

Mind you Hogan Bassey was the first Nigerian to hold a world title and he is from Calabar. So stop saying nonsense about Dick Tiger as the first.

E just be like saying because Rashidi Yekini is the first Nigerian to be the “Africa best player” in 1993 mean he is greater than Kanu in glory.

Lol dead this argument. When you talk about glory in sport, no Ibo man come close to Yoruba glory in both boxing and UFC world. Even if you wake Dick Tiger up, he won’t argue with this self evident truth.

You wan contest am?

Another round of yaribaa slowness, I was clearly making the point that when you mention some of the Nigerian GOATS in ANY sporting category, Igbos have already been THERE AND DONE IT as the pacesetters before Yaribaas even begin reason any global sporting achievements...it doesn't matter if the achievements were accomplished in 1902, we still celebrate our heroes past today for a reason dummy. The Dick Tiger you stupidly disrespect is a HALL OF FAMER, but an ignoramus like you won't know that cause your history started in 2025. The Ifeajuna's, Ajunwa's etc were first timers in winning Olympic gold medals in Nigeria before any Yaribaa ever dreamt of replicating it.

Even the Joshua you brag about was a product of the British system, he never honed his boxing skills in Ogbomoso or ilupeju, but we fit dash una Joshua since he embraced his yaribaa genes, even though he arguably holds the most unimpressive records of losing more title fights compared to the other greats before him.

Yekini was an all-time great so I'll never disrespect his legacy, but real football minds know Kanu remains the undisputed most decorated Nigerian football player till date, even you won't dare argue that one.

Make we run wetin? I'm not here to stress my phalanges doing ethnic e-bragging with you, I'm too busy out here having a good weekend with my boys to be doing "my papa prick big your own" foolishness, now if you want to talk about personal accomplishment then we can go band for band with verifiable evidence (bank s, social media footprints showing our accomplishments etc), that I'm absolutely game for. I don't give a fucck what some Emeka's or Ademola's are doing with their own lives over some irrelevant ethnic supremacy nonsense.

Oga, no UFC fighter in Ibo history is greater than Israel Adesanya.

So why should I respond to your jargons?

If you watch the boxing fight of Portable live yesterday, you will see that almost 90% of the other guys boxing yesterday before and after portable fight are Yoruba and few foreigners.

In boxing, UFC, or anything else, Ibo are not even close at all to the Yoruba.

Below is the top 10 UFC African fighters, you can see there are two Yoruba on the list.

I've already responded to your gibberish

Before Yaribaas sportsmen/women headlined anything in global sports, Igbos were the pacesetters. Dick Tiger was the first African to who held the undisputed middleweight and light-heavyweight championships. Tiger was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 1991. The Ring magazine named him Fighter of the Year in 1962 and 1965, while the Boxing Writers Association of America (BWAA) named him Fighter of the Year in 1962 and 1966. In 1996, Tiger was voted as one of the best boxers of the 1960s, The later in 1998, Tiger was put in the book of "Best boxers of the 20th Century". In 2002, Tiger was voted by The Ring magazine as the 31st greatest fighter of the last 80 years.

The likes of Emmanuel Ifeajuna won gold medals in Olympics before any Yaribaas could dream of replicating such feat, Chioma Ajunwa was a first as well, no Yaribaa football player will ever touch Kanu Nwankwo or even Mikel Obi in personal titles and achievements in football, I could go on and on but my focus is pivoted on the idiotic notion fighting abilities are determined by two nuisances fooling around for attention.

Adesanya was good but he has lost more title fights than any top UFC fighter recently, ditto Anthony Joshua who some Mexican fat kid pummeled around. Igbos like Ike Ibeabuchi, Dick Tiger etc were pacesetters in the game. Another established boxer in Britain is Igbo, Google Lawrence Okolie- he has a solid KO stat and lost only 1 fight yet in his weight division.

Meanwhile, if Yaribaas are this unbeatable and great beyond human imagination, why has the idiot in Aso rock along with his Yaribaa dominated government failed Nigerians in almost all sectors? Look at how insecurity is at it's worse under a Yaribaa government, na see finish remain for una grin wink

In the whole Nigeria, na Yoruba dey lead for boxing and MMA, no other ethnic come close.

—Richest person na Yoruba
—Most successful politicians Yoruba
—Music Yoruba

—Education Yoruba
—IT and Unicorns Yoruba

—Boxing Yoruba
—UFC Yoruba
—Fastest Woman Yoruba
—Tennis Yoruba
—Culture Yoruba
—History Yoruba
—Regional superiority Yoruba

Speed Darlington don dey cry since say na tribalism make Portable win. He talk say they rig the fight coz the judges are all Yoruba.

Fight wey everybody watch wey portable use blow break him shoulder bone for first round.
This was an ufc Africa event when an Igbo boy beat the brakes out of his Yaribaa opponent, note that there are several more fights on that event when Igbo fighters beat and dominated the Yorubas.

Using some joke of a fight between two clowns with one (Portable) having an obvious street fighting credibility to conclude Yaribaas have martial superiority over Igbos shows the level of stupidity in your gbegiri braincells, no wonder Reno the O'monkey dey carry una dey make juvenile banger boy tweets.

Enugu LG boss dislodges kidnappers on ambush

Gunmen who have been kidnapping and terrorizing Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area of Enugu State and environs have been disloged by the convoy of the council boss, Mr Chijioke Ezugwu.

It was learned that the gunmen, who laid ambush on the road for motorists who ply the area which leads to Umulokpa, headquarters of the agricultural had attacked Ezugwu’s convoy, which was leaving the headquarters after a security meeting where measures to wipe out the criminals was discussed.

Vanguard gathered that as soon as the council chairman’s vehicle got to the spot where the gunmen laid ambush, the criminals who were dressed like herdsmen and armed with AK 47 rifles jumped into the road to stop the vehicle.

It was learned that the LG boss who was in charge of security in the area before he won election quickly jumped into action and confronted them and disloged, as the four marauders ran into the thick bush.

Eyewitness said as soon as the LG boss jumped out of his official car together with his aids, the criminals fired several bullet shots but the council boss who was also armed responded with more intensively, which scared them as they disappeared into the thick bush
.

It was further gathered that together with his security aids, they pursued the criminals deep into the bush after which they came back to the main road and continued with their trip.

Sources said following the development, the chairman directed the newly constituted vigilante team and established farm protection squads to swing into action and comb all the bushes with a view to rounding the criminals up.

Recall that the chairman had taken many other security measures, including the recruitment and restructuring of neighbourhood watch, enhancement of intelligence gathering, procurement of security equipment, strengthening collaboration with formal security agencies, community sensitization and stakeholders engagement.

Sources said that the chairman has since ed his vigilante group and other security outfits in the area to carry out both day and night patrols in all volatile areas of the council.

And the ugly thing didn't even find a Yoruba woman worthy enough to marry with all his subtle bigotry.

Meanwhile I love how Obi is the standard now, the man isn't in power yet he's more popular than the so called president, that tells you everything you need to know.

Interesting how there small but ruthless tribes in the Middle belt that the fulani bandits won't dare mess with. Anyone who has heard about the Bachama, Eggons, Gwongs and Gbagyi will know that those ones don't joke with their lands, if fulani kills 5 of their people, 20 fulanis will repay the debt with their lives. These are the tribes that are small in population but have learned how to survive ethnic cleansing attempts by being ruthless.

It seems the Fulanis have picked on the more disunited tribes like Tiv, Aromas, Irigwes etc for selective annihilation and conquest of land. Ultimately, the so called big "3s" Hausas, Yorubas and Igbos have failed to curb the fulani menace due to lack of unity among themselves...the Hausas are even the worse, a very dominant people and language that got easily conquered and immersed into a smaller fulani tribe.

Several persons are feared dead following another deadly attack on Emichi village in Otukpo Local Government Area of Benue State.

DAILY POST gathered that the attackers stormed the community around 2:00 pm on Wednesday, shooting indiscriminately at residents.

It was learnt that terrified residents fled for safety as no security personnel were on ground to intervene at the time of the attack.

The incident is coming barely 24 hours after 11 persons were gruesomely killed in Otobi-Akpa by suspected herdsmen.

Wilfred Ndidi is always underated.
That the eyes of many will see the work Wilfred Ndidi does.

Ndidi normally records the highest in duels won on both sides in most of our matches.
He used his signature octopus to win back the ball in our recent match against Zimbabwe.
Ndidi is the most overrated player to ever wear the national jersey, I'm yet to see the hype you guys see in the guy, yes he wins his fair share of duels but that's where it ends- modern DMs have to give more than just winning the odd duels here and there...Ndidi can't progress the ball, can't shoot, his stats are average and his ball retention skills are average at best.

I see a player like Uche Chrisantus and even Hamzat Ojediran and I believe we've found our gems in these guys if even a chance.
