Seun himself announced this some weeks ago, along with some other changes. Although we are still begging him to create a separate section for Christians, instead of lumping us with African traditional religion and others

Victim mentality is not healthy
They're a very unique set of people, I tell you. Show them a picture of something happening as far away as Haiti or North Korea, and they'll find away to make it about their tribe.

Will any foreign football association have fixed a match in Nigeria if there was war in Nigeria today?

You're getting me wrong. There's no job seen as a dirty job over there.. you can also work at any age, provided you still have the energy. That's my point. As a cleaner, she'll enjoy many benefits that only the rich enjoy here in Nigeria, including health insurance. If she's complaining about rent, it's a different thing
That is not true. We have health insurance here as well for cleaners: both private HMOs and the government NHIS (National Health Insurance Scheme). In lagos there's the LASHMA (Lagos state health management agency )
In a standard people orientated society, you shouldn't be allowed to work at certain ages when the society should be the one taking care of you. Let's not praise what's killing us.

This is one of the people that are ever comfortable with appellations like " Mummy London" or " Mama ilu oyinbo". There are many of them over there who got carried away with the feeling of being abroad and never planned or thought of a day they will ever come back home.

Just a few weeks ago, we read of a 70 some year old man doing Uber in US who was killed. Why? It is because, they have a mind set the moment they step on the ground over there.

No plan to ever come back home.
No plan for themselves knowing fully well that the UK environment is harsh to eveeyone whether you are active or retired. Infact , the UK society aims to make you useless to yourself at the end of the day.

Lesson for other people presently forming Mummy London.

I am 101 percent sure all her children were born there and are still there. But of course for UK, mama no see pikin, pikin no see mama.
So true. The children themselves are probably juggling 2 or 3 jobs to pay bills while mama is also struggling to pay her own bills. It's such a sad situation.

Just because he tolerates or eventually forgive you doesn't mean you should keep doing what he regrets about you. Just continue sha, you'll soon be the one regretting.

Overseas, there's dignity in Labour. No age limit, no shaming, nothing. As long as you're still active, you are employable. A cleaner in the UK is a multimillionaire in Nigeria. Since she's moved to the UK, she must have had meaningful assets including buildings in Nigeria from that cleaning job if she hasn't eaten with both hands. She may also be closer home at 71 than you think. If she retires home at that age, she could age faster. Even with her cleaner job in a place like LSE,she'd get health Insurance and other benefits. Who can offer cleaners that in Nigeria, tell me.
There's no dignity in being a cleaner after 54yrs in the UK bro, don't see blue and call it black. Did you read the part she was already complaining about her rent and her bills? Would you want that kind of "dignity" for your loved ones?

71 year old still doing cleaning job in UK sad
What Nigeria cannot do to its citizens does not exist!

cry cry
Is it Nigeria that made her remain a cleaner for 54 years in the UK? You people so hate your country that you don't even mind embarrassing yourselves online anymore with your subpar way of thinking.

This is not life, still working as a cleaner at 71yrs. In 1971 when she entered the country she was likely in her teens around 17, how is someone like that still a cleaner after so many years abroad?

And secondly I'm very sure her dismissal was more likely because of her age, she may not be cleaning as well as she used to and maybe there have been complaints about the quality of her work and they didn't know how to let her go until this incident happened

Hi. I have been applying for work on Jobberman to the point where there are no jobs to apply to but I'm not even getting interviews. My resume was made by a professional company, so I know it's not a bad resume.
I want to know if I'm wasting my time. Has anyone ever been hired from Jobberman? How did you guys get your own jobs?
Note: I do not have connections.
Jobberman used to be very reliable those days but now, I don't know. Which field are you in?

The driver who actually killed the poor boy went Scot free, while the grieving parents are being punished instead.
Why is a 76 years old woman still driving, when it's very possible her eyesight might be failing or she may be having dementia?

Why compare a man's wife to his mother? If a man wants his mother for a wife, he can always consider the examples of Nimrod or Oedipus. That way she can cheer for him and also warm his bed. undecided
Is the wife not going to be a mother someday? Will she be this unconcerned if her son's friends are throwing him like volleyball? grin

Another fake report.

I believe your personal economy has also collapsed already.

Go ahead and swear. You know say God na your servant.

We know the Emergency lovers of Nigeria will love this news.

In fact if you’re looking for the real enemy of Nigeria, look no further, they are the ones.

Because how can you get excited and happy when you hear unfounded negative news about your country upset but be sad when you hear positive news about your country.

Go back and read the report again and you will know it is as fake as they come.

The report says 1 deaths every 7 minutes which means 1,440 deaths everyday from childbirth. Which also translate to 45,000 dying from Childbirth monthly.

Haba!!! Make una dey use una brain nau.

As your brother and sisters in UK how many lost their lives on awaiting list to see doctors?
Our obstetric care may not be top notch, but it is obviously not like the report is saying. What is sad is that Nigerians are always ready to believe any report that paints the country in a bad light, I don't know what they stand to gain from it. I'm quite sure many didn't even bother to read the report.

What's with the basketball?

Op you need psychotherapy but what's more important is do not listen to any religious spiritualist who says they have solution to your anxiety.
If you do , that would be the beginning of the end
franugo:

Is the basketball line an adage?

It's just a little word play.
In basketball traveling is a term to describe an offense in which you take more than 2 steps without dribbling.
The joke lies in the fact that since he's afraid of traveling, he shouldn't play basketball so as not to find himself traveling.
[of course most jokes ceases to be jokes if they have to be explained]

If your presence is needed as the boyfriend and you don't even have money for transportation not to talk about should incase, what precisely are you in relationship for?
Lol. It can't be that bad now.
Not having cash at hand is one thing, but not having where to get it urgently is a whole different ballgame entirely.
What I'm talking about is, if I need an urgent 250k to complete a transaction I should be able to call you, now whether you have it or not at that moment is irrelevant, what matters is you should be one of the first persons I think of calling, and not a complete liability. Thats what I mean.

The misconception is needs don't have to be necessarily be financial
Your mention of brokeness implies it's financial. But whether financial or not, taking care of needs should go both ways. That should be one of the major considerations in a relationship: taking care of each other's needs. "What is good for Greece is also good for Uganda."

There is no rule restricting broke guys to go into any relationship but if you truly love yourself and have respect for yourself, if you are broke, relationship is not for you

Whichever girl you might be dating, boke or rich, beautiful or ugly, if as a guy, you are too broke to take care of some of your girl's needs, someone else would do. Should you now be complaining of cheating?
My purpose for going into relationship with you is not to take care of your needs. If you as a lady cannot take care of your own needs then your immediate priority should be to fix your life , and not to become a burden to someone else.
