They wanted the Eastern house of Assembly to a vote of no confidence against Zik. But in a twist of events, the House ed a vote of confidence on Zik. Following this Zik demanded the resignation of all those in his cabinet who moved against him and tried to get him removed. Eyo Ita was one of them and so was Mbadiwe.
